Casino Room Online Casino Review
Casino Room is a pretty well known casino, having setup shop way back in 1999. It hasn’t made a lot of waves in that time though and has existed on the fringes somewhat, never quite being able to compete with the biggest and best casinos out there, but offering players from the UK an alternative nonetheless.
- A Solid Online Casino
- Great Support System
Casino Room Pros and Cons
- Top Brand
- Mobile Friendly
- Live Chat Open all Day
- Multiple Top Developers
- Withdrawal Limits
- Slow Pending Times
- High Play-through Rate
Casino Room is a UK casino first and foremost. This is the market that they targeted and the market where they currently do most of their business. They have a license from the UK Gambling Commission to allow them to operate legally in the UK and they also have a license from the Malta Gaming Authority, which means they can offer their services to players across Europe.
If you do not reside in any of the following regions then you should be able to signup and play. However, laws are constantly changing and while we try to keep up with them, we may miss one or two here and there, so there is no guarantee.

Casino Room Promotions and Bonuses
Casino Room has what appears to be a good bonus on the surface, as it offers up to £200 for all new customers. However, the terms are very off-putting as there is a staggering play-through rate of 100x.
To understand just how big this is, think about it this way: if you deposit £100 then you need to wager £10,000 before you can see any of it. The average play-through rate is around 30x and it is very rare to see anything above 50x, so 100x is simply shocking.
Casino Room Software
There are many great BetSoft games (see list here) and NetEnt games (see list here) and the unique software setup on Casino Room provides access to both.
- NextGen Gaming
- Play'n GO
- Evolution Gaming
- Yggdrasil Gaming
Casino Room Games
There are a number of great games to explore on Casino Room. There is a lot we don’t like about this casino, but this is an area in which they excel. Their selection of the latest bonus slots are what we like the most, but they also have a decent number of great blackjack games (read more here) and roulette titles (read more here).
Casino Room Security and Safety
Casino Room uses the latest SSL encryption technology to guarantee complete safety and security across the board. They have more experience than most when it comes to online casino safety and have been going for nearly 20 years now without issue.
We have not had any issues with the Casino Room customer support. In our experience they have been nothing but prompt and professional. This is always a welcome sight in modern online casinos, but it’s also something we would expect from one so established.
You can not use PayPal on Casino Room, but you can use Neteller.
Yes. In fact, it is all instant play. You can play through your browser on a tablet, phone, desktop or laptop. You should be able to play it through any browser and on any platform, but if you have an issue then simply try a different browser.
Casino Room is not publicly audited, but that doesn’t mean it is not fair. They work with many top tier developers, most of which audit their own games, ensuring that every spin is as fair as it should be.
They do not work with eCOGRA, which is a shame, but they are licensed by the UK Gambling Commission and the Malta Gaming Authority and they also work with other organisations to ensure complete fairness and safety.
Our Casino Room Review Summary
Casino Room is a bit of a mixed bag. On the one hand we were very excited to see how many great developers they are working with. Nothing intrigues us more than a casino willing to work with a major brand like Microgaming or Playtech, as well as NetEnt and Betsoft, and not only do Casino Room do that but they also work with many smaller developers.
The banking options are also plentiful, but the bonuses leave a lot to be desired, the withdrawals can be slow, we’re not big fans of the aesthetic, had a few niggling issues with the layout, and there is a withdrawal limit.
As we reviewed Casino Room it seemed like every positive was offset by a negative, leaving us with a somewhat mediocre casino that should have been a lot better, but is still worth a play.
